Tail Concerto is a game for Playstation released in Japan in 1998 by Bandai and in the US in 1999 by Atlus. The game is an RPG/platformer hybrid that follows Waffle, a police dog whose vacation gtes cut short when the Kuroneko-dan start attacking Prairie, his homeland. The plot thickens instantly when he sees that the leader of the feline gang is the same girl he knew as a child...
The game by today's standards is old-fashioned. An experienced gamer can beat it in 5 hours flat - but if you ask me it is a game to savor. Very few games, in my opinion, have the warm storyline and heart that Tail Concerto has. Add to it a lovely soundtrack, anime cutscenes, and beautiful artwork, Tail Concerto is by far one of my favorite Playstation games. I consider it a shame that it wasn't more popular, as it was remarkable and entertaining, and much more memorable than most of the fast-pace in-your-face games we have today.
